The Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse, two distinct theatres in different parts of Liverpool, work hand-in-hand to produce a wide-ranging programme of acclaimed and adventurous Theatre. They work continuously with writers and other artists to develop new talent and to bring you new stories and experiences.
Anthony Brown is a musician and composer who specialises in blues, jazz, folk and ska to produce toe tapping sounds. Raised on a diet on punk and comics, he discovered the best way to interest people was to either play guitar, or be good at football. Since the latter was a struggle, Anthony took up the guitar and travelled to various cities, finally settling in Liverpool. Today, he can be found jamming away and composing in a little corner of Everton, dreaming of one day being good at both football and guitar.
Without the following people and venues the Annexe writers would not exist. They have been incredibly supportive lending everything from space to fantastic food, advice and music to help us create our shows.
Open from 10am serving their renowned breakfasts and meandering through the day with a range of fresh lunchtime bites, until the evening when an elegant array of a la carte meals are served to tantalise the taste buds. All of this accompanied with the choice of local cask ales, world class beers, ciders & a variety of tempting wines.
