BRIAN CHARITY

Brian Charity makes up the Irish contingency of The Annexe Writers. Born on the mean fields of County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, Brian's writing career has had more dips and holes than a country road (or a ‘road’ as he calls it).

His greatest achievement thus far was graduating from Queen’s University, Belfast with a BA in English, followed successfully by an MA in Script-writing. He has also twice co-written for Accidental Theatre's ‘Fast and Loose’ 24 hour writing exhibition, having two sketches performed. Both were (intentionally) funny. His work has also been selected for the Royal Court Theatre's '100 Word Plays' website, alongside Irish poetry website 'Wordlegs'.
